• Question: How many rovers have you tested?

      Currently we have 3 main rovers, the size of golf buggies. 2 of them are part of the ExoMars rover project that are used by an expert team to develop clever software to enable the rover to navigate by itself. The actual rover is going to be built soon and will be launched in 2018.

      The third one, is called Bridget, used to be one of the earlier rover prototypes. Since then we have been using it in sorts of locations, in the desert in Atacama, in Tenerife and various quarries to test various instruments and new systems.
      Finally, recently we have been testing another smaller rover collaborating with Bridget to find the best path to traverse…really cool ! 🙂
