• Question: what would happen if you set something on fire in space? :)

      To burn, things need material to burn and something to provide oxygen for the burning, like air.
      With no air in space, things cannot burn, so fire cannot really take. If it was say, in the space station, then there would be air to burn and only then fire could be possible. The space station has a good fire system because of that.

      Also, the flames would be spherical, some astronauts have posted videos of flames in space, they just look like fire balls, check it out!
