• Question: why do you feel sick for a day when you get to the ISS

      The main reason you get sick is the lack of gravity. Your body is used to the gravity pulling you down. The fluids in your balance organ in your inner ear are behaving in a different way without the gravity and you get the same effect as seasickness when there is too much movement. Luckily most people get used to this and are fine after a few days.
