Question: how often do you train astronauts?

All astronauts come to the European Astronaut Training center in Cologne, Germany. Each has about 6 weeks in total of training on the European laboratory, learning to maintain it and perform science experiments.
As a trainer, we each spend about 6 days a month performing training. The rest of the time we are supporting the crew while they are in-orbit and preparing new training sessions.
