      Ivano: Science is the reason for which ISS has been built and it’s being operated.

      However, as a Columbus Flight Director I am responsible for crew safety and vehicle integrity, so our priorities are “Crew, Vehicle, Mission”, meaning that the top priority is safeguarding the lives of the crew members. Then we need to avoid damaging the ISS, or losing critical functionalities. At the third place there is mission success: ensuring that the science experiments provide science return (data and results) to the scientists/
